Licensing
Reach decides the license. Pick the tier that matches who benefits from the work.
These terms apply to purchases made directly through our Gumroad shop. Licenses bought through Creative Market or 6TM follow those platforms' own terms, and coverage may differ slightly.

General Terms
These terms apply to all licenses.
Duration
Each license is perpetual and does not expire. However, you must purchase a new license once any commercial limit of your license is reached.
Commercial limits
The End Product and advertising limits apply across the entire lifetime of the license, not per project. Once a limit is reached, a new license is required to continue.
Reach decides the license
Each license covers commercial use up to its End Product limit. If your reach is larger, you need a license that matches it.
Transfer
Licenses are tied to the license holder. You may not sell, transfer, or assign your license to another person or organization.
Updates
Your license includes all updates to each mockup for as long as that mockup is maintained.
Refunds
All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of our products, we do not offer refunds.
Custom licenses
If none of the licenses fit your needs, we can arrange a custom or larger license. Contact us at moi@gluelab.xyz.

End Product definition
An End Product is any digital or physical product intended for public distribution, promotion, sale, or monetized use.

Commercial End Products require either a Commercial or Studio License.
Note: all licenses are also subject to the Restricted Use Guidelines below.

- Your own merchandise and promotional campaigns
- Pitching commercial designs to artists and labels
- Portfolio pieces and self-promotion

How the End Product limit works
The 5,000 End Product limit applies across the full lifetime of the license. It covers one artist, band, brand, or label, and you may split the limit across several releases for that same artist or brand.
For example, with one Commercial License an artist or small label could release Release A at 1,000 units sold, Release B at 2,000 units sold, and Release C at 500 units sold. These add up against the same 5,000 limit. Once you reach 5,000 total, you must purchase a new license to continue.
What the license covers
One Commercial License covers one license holder.
If you are an artist, band or label, that means your own releases. For a label, it covers all releases by every artist signed to that label, as long as the combined End Product total stays within the 5,000 limit.
If you are a designer, it covers your own practice. Creating images, pitching commercial designs, publishing portfolio pieces and self-promotion all count together as one license holder, not as separate organizations.
The license does not extend to anyone else. If you need to cover a client's commercial use, or you need more user seats, a Studio License is the correct tier.
Pitching, portfolio and client work
You may create images, pitch commercial designs to artists and labels, and publish those designs as portfolio pieces. All of this sits inside your own Commercial License.
The license does not extend to your client. If an artist or label wants to use the image to promote or sell End Products, they need their own Commercial License matched to their reach, or you need a Studio License, which covers client use within its own limit.
You may deliver only the final image or End Product to your client. You may never share or transfer the original mockup or source files to any client or third party.
End Product definition
An End Product is any digital or physical product intended for public distribution, promotion, advertising, or sale.
You must add your own design or artwork to the mockup. The license does not grant rights to any artwork, graphics, or imagery already included in the mockup file. You may not use the mockup's own visuals as the design of your End Product.
End Products may not compete with the original products sold by Glue Lab. Redistributing, reselling, or repackaging mockups as competing products, whether modified or unmodified, is strictly prohibited.
Note: all licenses are also subject to the Restricted Use Guidelines below.
Studio License
The Studio License covers multi-client use. It is for studios, agencies, freelance designers and record labels of any size, delivering images that clients will use commercially across multiple artists, brands and projects.
Suitable for
- Freelance designers delivering images for client use
- Design studios and agencies
- Record labels
- Multi-client commercial workflows
- Team-based production environments
- Large-scale campaigns
Not allowed
- Use by more than 5 users without additional seats
- Resale or redistribution of mockups
- Repackaging mockups as competing products
License terms
- Number of users: up to 5 users within the same organization
- Coverage: the license holder and their clients
- Personal use: unlimited personal use included
- Commercial use: allowed for up to 50,000 End Products
- Multi-client usage: allowed
- Social media use: allowed across unlimited accounts owned or managed by the license holder
- Advertising rights: unlimited physical advertisements and unlimited digital advertisement impressions
How the End Product limit works
The 50,000 End Product limit applies across the full lifetime of the license. You may split it across multiple clients, artists, and releases.
For example, with one Studio License a studio could deliver images for Label A across three releases totalling 12,000 units sold, an independent artist at 3,000 units sold, and a merch campaign for Label B at 8,000 units sold. These add up against the same 50,000 limit, leaving 27,000 for further clients. Once you reach 50,000 total, you must purchase a new license to continue.
A client can also hold their own license. Once they do, their End Products count against that license instead of yours, which frees up your remaining limit for other work. For larger clients this is usually the cleaner arrangement, since it keeps each party's tracking separate.
Who counts as a user
A user is any person who works on the mockup files within your organization. Freelancers and subcontractors may use a seat only while working on your organization's project. They may not use the mockup files for their own separate work or for any project outside your organization. The mockup files must stay within your organization at all times.
If you need more seats, you must purchase additional Studio Licenses or arrange a custom agreement via moi@gluelab.xyz.
Client work and reach
One Studio License lets you create images for multiple organizations, such as several artists or labels, under a single license. This covers your work and your clients' use up to the shared End Product limit of 50,000.
If a single client's reach is larger than what this license covers, that client must purchase their own license that matches their actual reach.
