Before You Buy

The questions we get most often.

Which Photoshop version do I need?

Any recent version of Photoshop opens the files as intended. Each product page lists the version its mockup was built in.

On much older releases a layer effect can occasionally drop. Write to moi@gluelab.xyz and it gets sorted.

Can I use my own artwork and change the colors?

Yes. Your artwork drops into smart objects in both series. Colorway and material options vary from mockup to mockup, so what a given mockup includes is listed on its product page. System Series carries the fuller range, since every element is separate.

What is the difference between System and Static?

They are two different images. Both are ready to use the moment you open them. System Series is a studio setup built from separate elements, so you can move things around and rebuild the composition. Static Series is a real scene photographed in one place, so the framing and light are fixed exactly as shot.

Can I use a mockup for a client release or a label?

Yes, with the right license. Commercial covers the license holder, so your own releases, or your own pitching and portfolio work, up to 5,000 end products. If a client will sell or promote with the image, they need their own Commercial license, or you need Studio, which covers client use. Full terms are on the licensing page.

What do I receive, and how fast?

A ZIP containing the layered PSD files and the Glue Lab Mockup Handbook, a PDF covering setup, editing methods and workflow. The download is available immediately after checkout on Gumroad.

Do I get updates to a mockup I already own?

Yes. Updates to a mockup you own are free. Gumroad notifies you when a new version is published, and the file is waiting in your library.
