Privacy Policy

Glue Lab collects very little. There is no account system, no shopping cart, and no analytics or tracking on this site. Purchases happen on Gumroad, not here. This page explains the small amount of data involved and your rights over it.

Who is responsible

Glue Lab is operated by Samu Salovaara as a Finnish sole trader (toiminimi). For any question about this policy or your data, contact moi@gluelab.xyz.

What we collect on this site

Only a newsletter email address, and only if you choose to sign up.

The newsletter sign-up form is provided by Gumroad. When you submit your email, it goes directly to Gumroad and is stored there. We use it to send occasional updates about new releases and offers. We do not collect names, we do not build profiles, and we do not track your activity across the site.

Purchases are handled by Gumroad

We do not sell directly through this website. All purchases, payments, and customer accounts are handled by Gumroad, our sales platform. Any personal or payment data you provide when buying a mockup is collected and processed by Gumroad under their own privacy policy, not by us.

Server logs

This site is hosted by Domainhotelli. Like most web hosts, their servers keep standard access logs. These may include your IP address, the pages requested, the time of the visit, the referring page, and your browser type. These logs are generated automatically and are used for security, diagnostics, and keeping the site running.

The logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted or overwritten. Domainhotelli acts as our hosting provider and data processor for this purpose.

Third parties

A few outside services are involved in running the site. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

• Gumroad. Handles the newsletter sign-up and all sales. Receives your email if you subscribe, and your purchase details if you buy. See gumroad.com/privacy.
• Adobe Fonts. The site's typefaces are served by Adobe Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Adobe's servers, which involves sharing your IP address with Adobe. No cookie is set by this. See Adobe's privacy policy.
• Domainhotelli. Our hosting provider, responsible for the server logs described above.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. The Gumroad newsletter form may set cookies as part of its own operation. Those are governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.

Legal basis

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:

• Consent for the newsletter. You choose to sign up, and you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
• Legitimate interest for standard server logs, in order to keep the site secure and working.

How long we keep data

Your newsletter email is kept until you unsubscribe, after which it is removed from the active mailing list. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host and then deleted or overwritten.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
• Have your data erased
• Object to processing, or ask us to restrict it
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out

If you believe your data rights have been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish supervisory authority, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto), at tietosuoja.fi.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to legal requirements. The current version is always the one published here.
